Inbox by Gmail shall finally work on iPhone X, the large screened iPhone flagship launched in November 2017. The app, when opened on iPhone X prior to the latest update, would display black bars at the top and the bottom of the app, with the list of emails taking up the full length of the screen. This shall no longer be a problem on iPhone X since the latest update shall ensure a fully functional Inbox.
Inbox by Gmail is one of the last Google apps to acquire support for iPhone X, having received no less than 13 updates since last November. While no other new feature has been included in the latest update, the upgrade relieves the hitherto deprived iPhone X users.
Apart from this, Google has updated its standard Gmail app for iOS today by adding support for high-priority notifications for important messages.
Inbox by Gmail and Gmail are both available for free download on Apple’s App store.
