The Infinix Zero 8i smartphone will launch in India on December 3, as per the official announcement made public on 25th November. “Launch date postponed from December 2 to December 3. We regret the inconvenience,” the company in the Facebook post said.
The smartphone was first launched in select markets last month. The pricing and other details about the smartphone will be made available on the day of the launch itself.
The Infinix Zero 8i features a 6.85-inch full HD+ IPS display that comes with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The front side of the screen comes with a hole-punch cutout design, which houses the selfie camera.
Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC; moreover, the smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which could be expanded up to 512GB through a microSD card. It runs on Android 10 with XOS 7.
The camera’s rear end comes with a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor, and lastly, an AI sensor. There are two front-facing cameras, a 16 M primary sensor and an 8 MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens.
The Infinix Zero 8i runs on a 4500 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The battery could go from 0 to 70 percent of charge in just 30 minutes as per the company. Other smartphone features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG support, FM, fingerprint sensor, GPS, and more.
For the 8 GB + 128 GB memory variant, the price for the Infinix Zero 8i could be approximately Rs 16,300, considering its global price. The smartphone might be offered in three colors- Black Diamond, Green Diamond, and Silver Diamond, same as its global variant.
