Intel has always delivered power packing PC solutions, hardware and software technologies which have helped us to upgrade our PCs for ages. After taking over the market, Intel is ready to introduce its Tiger Canyon NUC computer kits with 11th generation processors in near future. The leaks and images of the NUCs are all over the internet especially after Intel’s Industrial Summit 2020.
The Next Unit of Computing (NUC)is a line of small-form-factor bare-bone computer kits designed by Intel. These NUC motherboards are quite powerful and ideal for small devices. Intel recently announced its new processors dedicated to IoT applications at the summit. Are there more surprises to come? Let’s find out.
Intel NUC 11 Tiger Canyon
As mentioned before, leaked images of the new gen- 11 Tiger Canyon NUCs are surfacing online. According to the data, the NCUs will be available in both Pro and regular versions (except for the i3 processor variant. It will only have the regular version) and will have three variant processors (i3, i5 and i7). The image also contains information about the following NUC models: i7-1185G7, i7-1165G7, i5-1145G7, i5-1135G7 and i3-1115G4.
The NUCs with i5 and i7 processors will come with Intel’s very own Iris Xe graphics, whereas the i3 processor NUC will have the Intel UHD graphics. These addition of graphics will surely deliver rich gaming experience to the users while making the device powerful at the same time.
In addition to these, the i5 and i7 variants will carry 4 cores and 8 threads while the i3 variant will only have 2 cores and 4 threads. The i7 NUCs will also have a 12 MB L3 cache, 15 variant will have a 8 MB L3 cache and lastly the i3 option will sport a 6 MB L3 cache.
The Tiger Canyon NUCs will be support Windows 10 and will be compatible with various Linus distros. These kits will also support help in mentioned situations: delayed AC start, auto CMOS reset and DC transient voltage suppression.
All of these NUCs will come with dual HDMI with built-in CEC per port and will also combine the dual Thunderbolt 4 via back tunnel type- C connectors. They will sport the Gen 4 NVMe SSD, serial port headers and other types- A and type- B ports. The NUCs will also be packed with adapters along with WiFi 6 connections.
As for the externals, they will carry a replaceable lid along with matte textured chassis and strain relief DC cables. Along with them, there also comes a three-year warranty.
However, all of the information is based on rumors and the leaks found on the internet. We cannot yet confirm the liability of the data until we get any kind of official announcements from Intel.
True or not, most of the times these uncertain leaks reveal much information about the upcoming devices even before their official release. Therefore, we can certainly hope that Intel will announce its Tiger Canyon NUCs very soon.
