The latest Geekbench 5 CPU results released today show that the update for Samsung Galaxy 22 ultra and the S23 ultra records earth-shaking change for the Exynos2200 users. The score proves that the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 has been improved by 60%, and the energy efficiency is increased by as much as 88% percent.

The Samsung Sm-S908B scores 1170 in the single core of the Geekbench 5 score. While for the multiple cores it scores 3563. This result proved that the multi-core has been increased by 45%, thereby making it possible for users enough to enjoy faster operation in their daily dealings.

With this improvement, Samsung Galaxy 22 ultra and the S23 ultra users will forget the so-called AMD GPU gimmick completely as their experience has been enhanced with the latest updates.

On the other hand, the Vivo V2227A records 1467 in the single-core score and boosts a 5182 in the multi-core score. While the Xiaomi 220733SFG scores 138 in a single-core and 479 in a multi-core score.

But it seems like Samsung will release the freshly unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU in Europe this year. Additionally, as the well-known tipper Ice Universe pointed out, there is a unique high-frequency variant. Naturally, this is done while using Android 13. The tested model came with 8GB of RAM.

The Cortex-X3-based Kryo Prime core is running at 3.36 GHz instead of the typical 3.2 GHz, which is the main distinction between this chip and other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips. The octa-core chip’s other seven cores are operating at their typical frequencies. Since Ice Universe posted this tweet, Samsung apparently gave Geekbench another try with the S23 Ultra and was able to marginally boost single-core performance this time.
