In August, Lenovo launched its hyped gaming smartphone called the Lenovo Legion Pro, in China. The gaming smartphone was also launched outside of China, however, under a different name.

The smartphone’s extraordinary quality lies in the fact that it is one of the very few smartphones to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform. Only a few days ago, Lenovo Mobile’s General Manager Chen Jin on Weibo announced that Lenovo will soon bring to the market a transparent edition of the device. On November 5, Lenovo confirmed the launch of the Lenovo Legion Pro Extreme Transparent Edition in China.

Last month the company also launched a few official images of the transparent gaming smartphone. The pictures show that the smartphone is indeed transparent in its truest sense. The users will be able to view its internal components through its transparent rear side.

The Lenovo Legion Pro Extreme Transparent Edition comes with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. The same RAM and memory capacity could also be seen in the regular version of the gaming smartphone. It should be noted that the price for the transparent version of the smartphone is the same as the regular one, that is, the smartphone is priced at 5999 Yuan.

The Lenovo Legion Pro Extreme Transparent Edition features a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ display that comes with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and its refresh rate is clocked at 144Hz. The Legion OS based on Android 10 OS comes preinstalled on the device. Its SD865+ chip is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The smartphone runs on a 5000mAh battery. As for the camera, the backside of the camera comes with a dual-camera setup that consists of a 64 MP and a 16 MP shooter. It has a side-facing pop-up selfie camera of 20 MP. The Lenovo Legion Pro Extreme Transparent Edition will go on sale in China on November 11.
