Lenovo VP Change Cheng revealed that a new Lenovo smartphone packing a large battery would be launched on March 20. The announcement post on Weibo was done using the Lenovo S5, and he has been posting on Weibo using the yet-to-be-announced phone since February end.
He also added an image with the post that is further suggestive that the Lenovo S5 is the phone to be launched two weeks later. Since January, he has been coming up with teasers of a mysterious Lenovo handset, which too suggest the same.
As per the teasers, Lenovo S5 will have a reflective metal body with curved edges. Secondly, it will bear ZUK’s ZUI Android skin. The thin Lenovo device’s other features known so far are a hardware security chip and a battery capacity of 6,000 mAh.
It has been further revealed in the teasers that this smartphone belongs to the brand’s S series. This series is supposed to focus on thin and durable devices. Therefore, along with the stylish appearance via the reflective metal body and the amazing battery life, Lenovo S5 offers longevity for the users. This makes it interesting to see what price range they come up with.
