Two months back, Lenovo announced the Tab 4 series. Now, the brand has launched two new tablets: Tab 7 and Tab 7 Essential. These tablets are packed with entry-level specs and available at an affordable price.
The Lenovo Tab 7 features a 7-inch display with a 1280 x 720 resolution screen. It packs the MT8161 quad-core processor of MediaTek, and it clocks at 1.3GHz. The RAM is 1GB LPDDR3, and the tablet has 16GB of built-in storage.
There is a 5MP primary camera at the rear and a 2MP front camera supporting video calls in the Lenovo Tab 7. As for audio, the tablet bears ‘a single mono speaker with Dolby Atmos immersive audio.’
The OS for Tab 7 is Android 7.0 Nougat, and the battery life consists of 15-hour power. Additional features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi connectivity, a micro USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack. The tablet is available in white and black and is priced at $99.99.
The Lenovo Tab 7 Essential showcases the same 7-inch display but with a 10234 x 600 resolution screen. The processor is MT8167D quad-core, clocking at 1.3GHz. As for RAM, this Lenovo tablet has 1GB DDR4, coupled with 16GB storage.
Both the Tab 7 Essential cameras are 2MP, with a single front-facing speaker. It runs Android 7.0, features Bluetooth 4.0, and has Wi-Fi connectivity. This tablet provides a 20-hour battery life. It is available in black and has a price tag of $79.99.
