Chinese Tech-Giant Lenovo has brought out its newest range of ThinkPad lineup powered by 8th Gen Intel Core Processor. At an event in Delhi, the company unveiled ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 Yoga, ThinkPad X280, ThinkPad X380 Yoga, ThinkPad T480s, ThinkPad T480, ThinkPad T580, ThinkPad L380 Yoga, and ThinkPad L380 – all of which are extremely sturdy yet lightweight and made keeping in mind the needs of the professionals.
The laptops also feature physical webcam covers, USB-C power adapters for universal charging, and mobility-enhancing Type C/ Thunderbolt Ports.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga laptops are priced at Rs 1,21,000 and Rs 1,26,000, respectively. They are equipped with Dolby Vision HDR providing extra clarity and brightness of vision, Improved Microsoft Precision Touchpad, and the iconic TrackPoint.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon can boast of being the world’s lightest in the 14” category and comes with a virtually unbreakable chassis made of advanced carbon fiber composite. This newly launched laptop is currently the only available convertible with an integrated pen and Global LTE-A capability. Along with improved keyboard and security features, it comes with a Thunderbolt 3 port and can deliver a whopping 15 hours of battery life.
The new series, available for sale in late April, combines flexibility with compactness of design that makes it adaptable and portable in most circumstances.
ThinkPad X280 is priced at Rs. 73,000 and the Yoga X380 at Rs 87,000. Both come with Rapid Charge support, providing 80 percent battery charge in an hour. X280 can last for 16.6 hours and X380 Yoga up to 13.6, also having Active Pen and Windows Hello support enhancements.
The ThinkPad T series, catering to corporate needs, consists of ThinkPad T480 of Rs 69,000, T480s of Rs 86,000 and T580 of Rs 74,000. These are equipped with IR camera, fingerprint reader, ThinkShutter Camera Privacy (for user data protection) and 27 hours of battery life.
