League of Legends players have already been anticipating the arrival of Patch 12.11, which will review a number of issues caused by the previous patch’s big durability adjustments as well as introduce a few new features. Regardless of the fact that the League of Legends 12.11 update will be launched tomorrow (June 8), the developers are yet to finalize some last changes to the game before publicly releasing it.

Riot is considering modifications to roughly 30 champions and a variety of systems in order to achieve a happy medium just after the major patch. However, the adjustments made to Lethality items, along with the Hextech Rocketbelt and Lethal Tempo are removed, according to head LOL designer Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison.

Prior to actually making things happen, the Riot developers are shifting away and assessing the significance of these changes. Those suggested improvements were made in response to the previous durability update, which caused a meta reversal, and were intended to give Assassins a greater kill threat.

“Phroxzon” Matt Leung-Harrison revealed why the devs decided against including lethality upgrades in the future version. He stated, “Assassins should kill you when ~even if they land their abilities. The quantity of abilities is determined by kit counterplay and how far ahead they are. Assassins must have a kill threat in order to play an important part in the game (even when they are behind). On 12.10, they occasionally create fighter stuff.”

Assassins were occasionally acquiring fighter equipment in Patch 12.10, as per Riot, which was shattering the Assassin dream. They are evolving into bruisers, with more endurance and firepower in their arsenal. Only once the patch goes live will the exact patch 12.11 modifications be revealed. League of Legends 12.11 update is going to be a significant one, with a slew of new champions and items on the way.
