LG has launched a new monitor called the Ergo monitor which features a 27-inch display screen. The new monitor is part of LG’s long-standing range of monitors, and previously the company had launched a monitor from the same line that featured a screen of 32-inches.
As a successor of the previous 32-inch model, the new LG Ergo model is more refined, for example. the new monitor has a 75Hz refresh rate which is higher than the 32-inch Ergo model. The screen of the new Ergo monitor provides a 178-degree viewing angle and comes with AMD Radeon FreeSync, HDR10, and 99% of the sRGB color-space.
As mentioned above, the new LG Ergo screen features a 27-inch screen with an IPS QHD display that supports 2560 x 1440 pixels. What catches the eye about this new Ergo model is the new feature called ergonomic stand that has the ability to rotate the monitor to whichever way it pleases the user. The stand comes with a C-clamp attachment that clasps to your desk for a strong grip.
The use of the stand of the monitor is multifarious. It not only provides respite to gamers, but it also can extend or swivel the monitor with the help of the stand. The stand could be used to adjust the monitor either to keep it at the eye level or to lower it to the desk.
Furthermore, the refresh rate makes it easier for gamers to make transitions between games. The monitor offers 350 nits of brightness and a 178-degree viewing angle. The LG Ergo monitor offers various different modes, such as the Game Mode, the Dual controller, the Radeon FreeSync, and the Reader mode.
The pricing of the monitor starts from $450 and is already available for purchase through the company’s official website, and it appears that the sale is exclusive to the official website only.
