Mayhaps the company launching the transparent OLEDs in 2024 would be the earliest time frame the company can hold on with.
According to Korean media The Elec, LG Display came off with a 55-inch transparent OLED TV to its colleague LG Electronics TV segment at the beginning of this year. The other TV in this segment isn’t meant to be equipped with transparent OLED; instead, it will use LG Electronics-powered glass.
If the transparent OLED is to be believed in 2023, LG Display would already have begun the spotlight to show off the splat for the project, but there is no gimmick so far, which predominantly indicates that it is expected to be unwrapped in 2024.
To surpass the epitome of LG Display’s new steps, Xiaomi had already Introduced the transparent OLED TV panels with a Xiaomi 55-inch “Mi Lux,” which also embraces LGD panels, howbeit the product’s sales are not suitable as expected. LG Electronics also needs to spend some time designing the TV model.
The company is reportedly already providing gates to transparent OLED signs, which LG Electronics’ B2B division is selling, Business Solutions Company.
