A report earlier this morning revealed that the South Korean multinational electronics company LG will demonstrate the application of the new transparent OLED screen display during the CES 2022. The new LG Display can also be used as a merchandise showcase.
The Verge reported that LG Display would demonstrate a number of transparent OLED panel applications at the CES 2022 Consumer Electronics Show, scheduled to hold in January.
Recall that LG previously unveiled the world’s first transparent OLED TV, but this screen may also be found in product windows, shelves, and smart services.
The first item is a pair of 55-inch OLED panels. The upper portion of this product may display standard TV images, while the lower portion can be utilized to display additional information or artwork. This TV has an always-on display feature, and the projected image can blend in with the background wall.
The top of the product also incorporates an electric roller, which may expand an opaque backdrop layer to boost the picture’s contrast, ensuring the upper section’s display effect.
The second item is a solid wood-framed retail showcase. The translucent screen is positioned in the front, as seen in the demo picture, and the table in the back can be used to place the actual scent. The translucent OLED screen allows you to see the goods as well as display product descriptions, animations, and other information to entice people to buy.
A big translucent showcase made up of four 55-inch translucent OLED screens is the third product. The screen is used to display introduction text, posters, and other information, and the product can also position displayed products on the rear. This product is currently on display in Musinsa fashion boutiques in Seoul, the United Kingdom, China, and Japan.
The South Korean electronics giant claims that this series of transparent OLED screens have a resolution of 1080P and a transparency of 40% and that they have been manufactured using the company’s eighth-generation display production process.
