LG is reportedly planning to release a new version of the LG V35 ThinQ. The new LG V35 ThinQ is going to be a super-exclusive version of its flagship of the same name. The new version is expected to launch this August and will be priced at $1,790. The phone will be a part of LG’s Signature range of electronics. LG released the V30 Signature Edition back in December 2017 and the edition was limited to 300 units.
The price range of the new phone is higher and to justify the price LG has added some new features. The new version of the LG V35 ThinQ will have a storage of 256 GB which is way more than the 64 GB storage found in the regular LG V35 ThinQ. Also, the body could be similar to the ceramic one found on the LG V30 Signature Edition which was released in December last year. The new phone will have a special scratch-resistance body.
But the outlet is expected to be the same as the standard V35 ThinQ. So the new version will sport the same 6 inch OLED display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 GB RAM and dual rear cameras. If LG goes forward with their plans to release the V35 Signature Edition phone, it will be exclusive like last year’s LG V30 Signature Edition.
Last year’s edition was only sold in Korea and was limited to only 300 units. LG is not the only company to have released a premium version of one of its flagship phones. Huawei recently released the Mate RS Porsche Design and Oppo has revealed a Lamborghini version of its new Find X. With the release of the new Signature Edition models, LG hopes to raise the value of its brand.
