Renowned German luxury automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has today unveiled its latest offering in the electric SUV market with the launch of the new EQE model, a highly anticipated upgrade that combines enhanced features with an intact price range starting at $68,000 and going up to $88,250.

The new EQE SUV, according to the German automobile, is tailored for the Chinese market with the introduction of ten exclusive configurations, including a unique boss button and comfortable rear headrests. The feature also has a special focus on reducing noise, vibration, and harshness levels, thanks to the comprehensive vehicle acoustic package and double-layer silent glass. Now, take a look at the new EQE fully electric SUV.

Innovative Design and Exterior Features

The EQE SUV’s exterior design upholds the unique aesthetic of the brand, with a closed grille, a striking through-type LED light strip, and cutting-edge “Meteor Shower” intelligent digital headlights that have an incredible 2.6 million illuminating pixels. The SUV has an impressive 98% ultra-high screen-to-body ratio and enhanced athletic features on the front bumper, which add to its alluring look.

With optional air suspension (AIRMATIC) and adaptive damping system plus (ADS+), which allow for improved passability by altering the vehicle’s height, the EQE SUV provides a smooth driving experience. A variety of driving modes are available to accommodate different driving tastes, such as “Energy Saving,” “Comfort,” “Sport,” “Personalised,” and “Off-Road.”

Advancing Safety with Interior Technology

The car’s interior pleasingly combines elegance and technology with an enormous triple screen, a multifunction steering wheel, and multi-color ambient lighting. With its remarkable 141 cm width, the MBUX Hyperscreen in-car system prioritizes important apps and makes sure that driving is simple and free of distractions.

Under the hood, the EQE SUV boasts a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive system paired with a robust 96.1 kWh battery pack. The 350 model delivers a maximum output power of 215 kW, while the 500 model impresses with 300 kW. With a maximum cruising range of 613 kilometers under CLTC operating conditions and a rapid 128-kilowatt charging power, the EQE SUV prioritizes both performance and efficiency.

Additionally, the EQE SUV has several active and passive safety systems, such as an active brake assist system, an active lane-keeping assist system, and an attention assistance system. Besides, buyers can increase safety by adding a driving assistance package with an intersection start and stop feature. With its emphasis on performance, safety, and user experience, the new EQE SUV establishes itself as a competitive force in the rapidly changing electric SUV industry.
