After what seems like a long time, Microsoft has finally updated Alarms and Clock’s built-in apps in Windows 10. The new version bears the number 10.2101.28.0.
Although it has taken some time for Microsoft to roll out the new update, the new design that both the Alarm and Clock app will now be featuring from now on was revealed in December 2020 to all Windows 10 users.
The update aims to refine the overall design and introduce a much larger font than the previous design. Moreover, the new update has also added a fullscreen option for the Timer and Stopwatch functions.
The update brings the new design Microsoft first released to Insiders in December 2020 to all Windows 10 users. This updated app replaces the top navigation with Navigation View control on the left-hand side.
Furthermore, a few other settings have changed their places. The timer section, too has moved, and currently resides on the home screen of the app. The update has also given a new look to Timer, Alarm, World Clock, and Stopwatch sections which, the company hopes, will offer a better user experience.
The new app will not only make it easier for the users, but it also claims to have added new animations, floating buttons, rounded corners and much more.
The Alarms and Clock app received one of its biggest updates in a while. The World Clock gained a few new inclusions. The newly updated app now will come with weather icons and the current date for each city location, making it easier to determine a place’s date in a different timezone. The Alarms and the Clock app menu moved to the screen’s left side adjust better now when resized.
