Today, October 7, the American multinational technology company, Microsoft, has officially announced the release of the Xbox skateboard deck.
The company, which produces computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services, has already created a number of limited-edition promotional Xbox-branded skateboards. Still, the tech giant has now released one that is available to the general public and can be ordered online and shipped globally.
Recall that the Xbox Green Sphere Skateboard Deck was released earlier this month on Microsoft’s Xbox Gear Shop online store and costs $97.95.
The new Xbox skateboard deck is measured 8-inch x 32-inch and made of 7 ply Canadian Maple, so it’s more than capable of being used for skating rather than just as a cool addition to a gaming or streaming environment.
According to the official description given by the company, Skateboarding doesn’t have a lot to do with Xbox.
“Of course, there are skateboarding games, but you usually have to pause a video game to utilize your skateboard. We still made an Xbox skateboard deck because we believe it’s cool.
“You may also use this as a shelf or put it on your wall as a decoration. Then you may use both your Xbox and your Xbox skateboard deck.” The deck’s official description reads.
However, it should be noted that in this month, Microsoft is putting out a lot of Xbox merchandise. Official Halo Infinite Rockstar Energy Drinks are now available, thanks to a new cooperation with Adidas announced just this morning.
