A few days ago the specs and news for the upcoming Motorola smartphone surfaced online. Furthermore, Motorola has been teasing the next Moto G 5G for a while now, while at the same time, the company has also introduced a plethora of smartphones on the pocket-friendly side.
However, the Moto G 5G targets the mid-range segment. Additionally, the latest offering from Motorola is supposed to be the first affordable smartphone to come with 5G connectivity. The only other competition that Motorola has on the market in this same smartphone area is the OnePlus Nord which has been in the market for a while now.
The new Moto G 5G features a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ LTPS display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 394 PPI pixel density. Under the hood, the smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC. The smartphone features 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which could be expanded using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on a 5000mAh battery that supports 20W TurboPower fast charging.
Moto G 5G offers a triple the camera setup on its back which includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7, an 8 MP secondary f/2.2 wide-angle sensor, and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro sensor. The selfie camera is 16 MP. For connectivity, Moto G 5G supports 5G, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and USB Type-C port. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, unlike the previous Motorola devices that come with a rear-mounted sensor.
The Moto G 5G smartphone will be available in two different colors including Frosted Silver and Volcanic Grey. The smartphone has been launched on Flipkart on 30th November at 12 pm. It is priced at INR. 19999. Motorola has not confirmed the sale date yet, but it will only be available for purchase from Flipkart.
