After the introduction of the popular Realme GT Master Exploration Edition last year, the Chinese mobile giant has been rumored to be working on a successor of the device – The Realme GT2 Master Exploration Edition.

In complementing these rumors, a new Realme device with model number RMX3551 was spotted online at various certification websites. Similarly, recently, a smartphone with that exact model number has been certified for sale in China by TENAA.

However, today, the Chinese mobile giant has officially unveiled the new device in the Chinese market, thereby ending the long speculating rumors. The new realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition is equipped with the most fragrant Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

The smartphone design is more mainstream, and there are not many bright spots therein. The relatively powerful processor of the core hardware, the rear camera is user-friendly, with dual 50 million pixels. Additionally, the experience is worth looking forward to as the device will enhance users convenience.

Realme GT2 Master Exploration Edition Specifications

The device sports a 6.7-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz AMOLED display, which is flat and has a centrally located hole-punch for the 16 MP selfie camera. A triple camera system is installed on the back, with two 50 MP sensors (wide + ultrawide) and a 2 MP depth sensor.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s most recent chip, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and comes with 4/6/8GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB of non-expandable storage.

There’s also an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at 100W to keep the lights on. The Realme GT2 Explorer Master weighs 199g and is 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2 mm. It will be available in three colors: white, brown, and green.

As it stands now, the new Realme GT2 Master Exploration Edition is only released in the Chinese market today, we expect that the device will be announced in other regions soon. Stay connected with TechGenyz for more latest updates.
