Along with Nokia 6 and Nokia 5, Nokia 3 was launched at MWC 2017. HMD Global started the official Android 8.0 Oreo beta program for the Nokia 3 in February. Now, the latest Nokia 3 Android Oreo beta build has introduced the Night Light feature.
The Nokia 3, as launched at MWC 2017, was packed with features that include the MediaTek MT6737 system-on-chip, 2GB of RAM paired with 16GB of storage, 5-inch HD (1280×720) 16:9 IPS display, an 8 MP rear camera, and 8 MP front camera with a 2630mAh battery which is currently positioned above the entry-level Nokia 2 in HMD Global’s device portfolio.
The Nokia 3 Night Light feature was first done by Google Pixels, making the display amber comfortable for reading at night by cutting down on blue light. Blue light is harmful as it affects circadian rhythm, making it difficult to sleep at night. The night light can also be rescheduled according to the user’s predefined hours, for example, between 12 AM to 6 AM.
The novelty also contains Nokia 3 March security update, a new camera app, and includes other standard Android Oreo features like picture-in-picture mode, smart text selection, notification channels, and many more. The device with the Android Oreo update V3.250 beta build is expected to be available in the coming weeks.
