Nokia’s latest phone bearing the model number 5310 was announced earlier this year, and HMD Global has started their process of gradually teasing out the new phone.
Nokia used to have the biggest market in India, but gradually with the advent of Android-based smartphones, the Finnish company has lagged behind here. However, the company is working towards building its market up again. The Nokia Mobile India has tweeted about the new phone which is soon to make its debut in India. The tweet reads “The countdown to the remix has begun. Are you ready to #NeverMissABeat? #Nokia5310.”
The upcoming Nokia 5310 feature phone will be a 2G phone, available at a very affordable price. The phone carries the price tag of 39 Euros which amounts to Rs. 3,120. It is assumed that the price for this feature phone will start somewhere around Rs. 3,000 in India.
The feature phone sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display screen that supports a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone runs on MediaTek MT6260A SoC and comes with 8MB of RAM. Furthermore, the phone equips 16MP of internal storage; however, this could be expanded by up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.
The phone comes with two speakers that are placed on the front side of the phone, and the right side of the phone comes with a few control buttons. It also comes with 3.5mm audio jack and wireless FM Radio. The phone measures 123.7 x 52.4 x 13.1 mm and weighs 88.2 grams.
The rear end of the phone features a VGA camera with LED flash. The feature phone runs on a battery of 1200mAh, and the battery is removable. The battery offers a talk time of up to 7.5 hours and is compatible for both Single and Dual SIMs. Lastly, the phone runs on Nokia Series 30+ software.
