Oculus is hosting its second annual developer conference to be held from 23 to 25 September at Loews Hollywood Hotel, CA. In a blog post, the Facebook-owned VR gaming start-up announced that more than 1,500 top developers, engineers, and creators working on virtual reality would join the event.
The company announced it would issue three-event passes – Conference Pass, Indie Pass, and Student Pass. Registration is now open for the conference, starting at $495 for early-bird attendees and will jump up to $695 on-site. Oculus has reserved a limited number of passes for qualified independent developers and verifiable students from an accredited college or university that will be available at $95.
In the blog post, Oculus says, “This year at Connect 2 we’re doubling the number of talks, and we’re looking for more great presentations from developers who want to share their work and experience with the community.”
Last year at Connect conference nearly 1,000 developers around the world attended engineering and design session to discuss and learn about the future of the virtual reality and the Oculus Rift platform.
This year the company is also accepting submissions for speakers who will fall under three main categories – VR Engineering, Game, and App Design & Cinematic VR. Here you’ll get more details of the event at Oculus Connect 2 website.
