The leading smartphone company OnePlus is all set to launch its new smartphone, the OnePlus 8T on October 14 globally including in the Indian market. Although according to an official announcement, the company will not come out with a Pro model this time, the OnePlus 8 Pro will continue to be available for purchase.
Ahead of the launch of the most-awaited new OnePlus smartphone, the franchise has surprised its fans by creating and launching OnePlus World.
OnePlus World basically is a virtual world of products from the smartphone giant. Ever since the pandemic began, all of the tech sectors are trying to come up with new ways to keep their fans engaged, and to give them something new to experience from the comfort of their homes.
OnePlus World will offer just that. Using the new virtual platform, the consumers will be able to experience all OnePlus products sitting at home. The new brilliant virtual platform allows its consumers to play various games to earn points and explore photos shot using their OnePlus phones.
The OnePlus World also offers the chance for the fans to explore a virtual museum that will showcase all the OnePlus products and devices. The interested people could do that by first creating an avatar for themselves.
The consumers can gather points, compete with friends, and gathering enough points that may land them a position among the daily top 100. Additionally, the grand finale will have the top 500 winners who will stand the chance to win the upcoming smartphone, the OnePlus 8T.
Although the tech giant has already launched the OnePlus World, it is yet to be evolved into its final form. The virtual platform promises that the consumers can create a “private auditorium”, invite friends to join that, and witness the launch of its new smartphone.
However, that feature is yet to be included in the virtual platform. Hopefully, it will go live before October 14. Interested people can access the OnePlus virtual world.
