OPPO launched 46mm and 41mm smartwatch in Malaysia

OPPO recently came out with a new smartwatch which comes in two different design variations. One of the recently launched OPPO Watch which is named the 46mm style features a 1.91-inch AMOLED display with an aluminium alloy frame; the other one, the 41mm model features a 1.6-inch AMOLED screen, despite which it also supports up to 1000nits brightness, and comes encased in an aluminium alloy frame.

Both the smartwatches run on Google’s Wear OS system which has the ability to connect to mainstream apps on the linked smartphone. Furthermore, the watches support Google Assistant, Google Play Store, etc. The dial-design of the watch is fluid, in the sense that since the watch supports user-defined or even an AI artificial intelligence, the user has freedom over customizing the dial.

The watch comes equipped with a built-in Google Fit which can track more than 90 sports modes. On top of that the company, OPPO has developed and supports 5 sports modes, including fitness running, fat-burning running, outdoor walking, outdoor cycling, swimming, and 5 kinds of sports sensors. The watch also includes some generic features such as heart rate detection and sleep detection.

Under the hood, the OPPO Watch features Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 and Ambiq Micro Apollo 3 Wireless chips which will fuel different operations. The Qualcomm chip works for providing different functions and sports modes and supports up to 36 hours of use, and the Ambiq chip is used to support the power saving mode which offers up to 21 days of use and 14 days of service for the 41mm model.

The watch comes equipped with VOOC flash charging that can fully charge within 75 minutes and just 15 minutes of charging, it can make the watch last a whole day.

OPPO Watch’s 41 mm and 46 mm models are priced at RM899 and RM1299, respectively. In other news, the Chinese company has also launched the OPPO Find X2 Plain Bamboo Cyan and the OPPO Watch 46mm set, priced at RM6097.
