The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all set to launch its new range of smartphones, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+. The launch is scheduled to take place on December 10 in India. The launch event will also bear witness to the launch of two other smartphones to accompany- the hyped Reno 5 Pro+ called the Oppo Reno 5 5G and the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G.
Although some leaks show us that the design of the Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G and of the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ is almost identical, the capabilities of the two smartphones would always differ.
The Reno 5 Pro 5G will have the world’s first 50 MP Sony IMX-7 series sensor for the rear primary camera. Some reports also mention that the phone will have a 16MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 12 MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
Coming back to the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+, it will allegedly run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 whereas the Oppo Reno 5 is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 765 5G SoC, and the Oppo Reno 5 Pro will run on the Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC.
Other specific details about the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+, such as the size of the display or its dimensions, are not available yet. They will be known soon after the launch-event takes place. It also not yet clear as to what the pricing of the smartphone will be like.
However, it has been shared that the Reno 5 will come with a 6.43-inch full HD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Furthermore, it will come with a triple camera setup with a 64 MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2 MP sensor.
