Of late, almost all smartphone manufacturers are focusing on improving the camera quality of their smartphones. There is no doubt that camera quality and its features have become key points for consumers. The increasing number of cameras on smartphones testifies to that. Thereby, it seems that almost every smartphone manufacturer is constantly improving the camera level of the smartphones they make. One of the leading Chinese manufacturers, Oppo to is concerned with improving the camera quality of its smartphones. On August 18, the Chinese smartphone giant announced that the company would hold a future imaging technology conference on August 19, 2021.

The official description of the conference reads, “We have been exploring new directions for images, such as low-light shooting, pixel-level anti-shake, smoother zoom…”

Following that, the company has also revealed an image. Here it is impertinent to mention that the Chinese company has not yet revealed the conference’s details. However, the picture officially revealed the company is likely to bring liquid lens technology at the upcoming imaging technology conference. Notably, this same technology has already appeared on Xiaomi Mix Fold. If the technology used by Xiaomi is the same one that Oppo will talk about at the conference is not yet clear; whatever the case may be Oppo will surely bring its own flare to it.

On his personal Weibo account, Liu Bo, President of OPPO China posted a poll, “I would like to ask everyone, what do you value most when taking photos with your mobile phone?”

The options given by Liu Bo are a better picture when shooting in low light, no ghosting when shooting pets in motion, always clear when zooming, and clear shots with the under-screen camera.

Later that day, Oppo’s official Weibo page reposted the same, citing that all of the four options are important while at the same time not very easy to integrate within a single camera technology.
