The Chinese consumer Electronics company, Oppo is now to release Oppo Watch ECG edition has already been certified by the China Drug Administration for Class II medical device registration and is marked to make its launch on September 24.
Earlier it had tried to introduce this ECG technology in and this time it might be full-fledged incorporation specifically done for medical facilities as well.
Oppo, earlier officially released the OPPO Watch on March 6 this year with the use of a 1.91-inch AMOLED dual-curved flexible screen. The smartwatch built with an integrated metal frame and curved design along with the support for 50 meters swimming level.
Similarly, the Oppo Watch ECG Edition might have curved AMOLED panel with 326 PPI, DCI-P3 colour gamut varying between 1.6-inch and 1.9-inches. The werable to have minimum bezels all around just like the basic Oppo Watch whose release took place in earlier this year.
Since Oppo Watch ECG Edition is a modified form of Oppo Watch we might see the following features of Oppo Watch in this new gadget as well which enlists the following:
- Snapdragon Wear 2500 chipset
- Apollo 3 co-processor with an 8GB storage
- Built-in GPS module
- Near-field Communication and 4.2 Bluetooth connectivity
- VOOC charging with 50% charging in 15minutes
However, it is to be kept in mind that these are just the basic features of Oppo Watch and might or might not be there in the newer version. Albeit, it is basic to have the primary elements of Oppo Watch to be present in the newer version, we can expect additions specifications as well. Although Oppo Watch sold only over China, this time all we got to do is but wait for the official announcement.
