Grand the news for the PlayStation 4 fanatics! Starting today, April 20, until the 24th, you have two brand new thriller games coming for your favorite console. These are ‘Phantom Trigger’ and ‘To Leave.’
The games are as interesting as they are named. Phantom Trigger, developed by Bread Team with tinyBuild, is a pulsing combat game balanced between rewards and punishments! As described by the CEO of tinyBuild, it is a ‘hardcore neon slasher.’
For an overview, Phantom Trigger lets you start as a character named Stan leading an ordinary life till he’s hit by a mysterious illness. After falling sick, Stan opens his sight to a ‘strange neon world, where he is the Outsider.’
Now, the Outsider is a ‘warrior with no memory and has three weapons to fight with. These are a Green Whip to pull enemies, a blue Sword for slicing and dicing, and red Gauntlets backed by a powerful punch. The game demands the character to ‘stay nimble’ while going through obstacles and combos, performing spells, and more!
It features a rich combo system, slick challenging action, and a twisted storyline that has multiple endings. The game draws inspiration from the difficulties of Dark Souls, plot twists of Fight Club, and combat styles of Devil May Cry. It is being released today for PS4.
Four days after, April 24 will get you the game To Leave! It is more of an experimental game based on mental illness and a psychological journey to find peace. It displays the mental challenges of a young man that can be related to various psychological difficulties faced by people worldwide!
More commonly found in young introvert people, the game offers a perceptive benefit to those who feel unnecessary and unintentional violence evolving within. The challenge comes when you want to control and settle things around as you intend to achieve peace once and for all.
The game rightfully bears the name of the main character as Harm, a young manic-depressive man having a magical flying door. He just finished a plan to sort out his troubles forever! The description couldn’t be better: “In To Leave, players will experience what it feels like being Harm at this crucial moment of his life: a deeply conflicted, half-lucid, half-insane teenager with muddled thoughts but with one very clear intention in his heart: peace for himself, and peace for his world.”
Going by the description of the developer Freaky Creations, the game uses several points of view along with game genres for a complete experience for the gamers. Despite it hitting the decks on April 24, a pre-order will get you extra perks and even a discount!
It took 6 years of development and research process for To Leave to be alive. It has been tested by hundreds of players with different levels of experience. The game is as well one of the first Ecuadorian games to launch for a PlayStation platform.
Be sure to come back here and share your experiences of these two new PS4 games, and let others know. Stay tuned to get more info on new exciting games for PlayStation platforms.
