Ahead of a day of lowering clouds and murky sky hovering around the realm of gaming, perhaps you would have gotten it right or in the rare case wrong. If none didn’t get into the heart of the matter, you would if you were a gamer. Sony is now rolling out a new PS5 firmware update that Smashes up the console with a swish of massive excitement.
The update was discovered back in July when it was glimpsed up with the beta version and made available only to selected players. Now the version 22.02-06.00.00 firmware is available to everyone.
The new update adds 1440p support, folders, and lots of new social features. Among these, the mightiest add-on will be the prelude of 1440p support allowing users with TVs and monitors that support it to now present games in that resolution.
Into the way of it, then comes the social feature which arrives with the ability to request party members to share screen features and bombs up a notification when a party member is playing a game. Yet to make it more convincing, the studio came up with a more bifurcating idea that splits up the user library.
Players can now create game lists which are understood as folders where the users can separate their libraries. It works delicately. Players can now have up to 15 game lists with 100 games per list, whilst the exact game can be displayed in different lists. Every new feature has been added to new PlayStation blogs. There are also a few features that offer incredible exposure to the great theme such as voice command search on the YouTube app and two additions to the PS App: launching PS Remote.
