PUBG Mobile celebrates the Chinese new year or the Lunar year with a new themed game show. PUBG Corporation and Tencent have designed a few events to celebrate the Year of the Rat.
This would not be the first time that PUBG Mobile has hosted events. Most of the events lead to the users winning certain perks or costumes or boosts. However, the new event, which starts on January 21st, 2020, will be a bit different than its previous counterparts.
In addition to winning in-game perks, the event hosted to commemorate the Chinese new year will also offer some physical gifts in the forms of gift cards.
The new event will last till February 6th, 2020, and PUBG announced on Twitter that it is bringing a whole new set for this event.
The new set is called the Vagabond General Set. This will be available for a limited amount of time, and using the character of this set, a grumpy yet confident-looking Chinese general, the players can bring the game to their enemy’s door.
In the 30-second teaser video that PUBG posted shows the Chinese general stomping the ground apparently asserting dominance. The General set will come with its own set of customized accessories such as guns, headgear, the Chinese General robe and much more.
The new crate also offers flame dancer set, blazing vermillion bird set, clan perks, a new weapon called candy cane- VSS, the vagabond general mask, and much more.
