Realme is about to bring to the market its first-ever fitness band, the Realme Band. After much deliberation, and delay on the company’s part, Realme has finally ventured into the fitness band business which is a profitable market.
Ishan Agarwal has tweeted that the band will go on sale in India on May 26, and will be available through the eCommerce sites Amazon and Flipkart. Furthermore, the Chinese tech giant has also revealed that the band will go on an open sale in the country. What that entails is that the ones eager to get their hands on the latest fitness band would not need to wait for much longer, and can order their bands immediately.
The Realme Band features a 0.96-inch color TFT display that comes with 80x 160 pixels resolution. A touch button has been integrated with the watch which is used to navigate through the different features. The smart band also features a built-in PPG optical heart rate sensor that is made to measure heart rate every 5 minutes.
The fitness band offers 9 sports mode which includes walking, running, yoga and much more. Keeping in mind the crowd and the audience here in India, the company has also integrated a Cricket Mode feature. It turns out that this mode is made specifically for the Indian audience.
The watch has an IP68 certification making it water and dustproof. The sleep tracking technology will keep track of the user’s sleep cycle, and the Idle Alert will keep reminding the user to move or take a walk.
The Realme Band is designed in such a way that it can be easily integrated with almost any app, and the Band can receive all the notifications from the supported apps, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Messenger, SMS, and much more.
The dial face could be changed according to the preference of the user. The USB direct charge is used to directly put the Band on charge by directly plugging it into a USB port without any charging cable.
The Realme Band is priced at INR. 1,499, and is available in Green, Yellow and Black colors.
