Realme is going to showcase its 64MP quad-camera technology on August 8 in New Delhi. The company will hold an event to talk about the new camera technology in India, while the smartphone major is likely to unveil on August 15 in China.
Though much is not known about the new phone, it has been hinted by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth that the upcoming phone might be called Realme 5. Madhav Sheth has recently changed its Twitter user to “Madhav ‘5’ Quad“. This, not the first time that we see Madav change his name, earlier during Realme X’s launch in India, Sheth had changed his Twitter account name to Madhav X.
After Realme 3, Realme 3 Pro, and Realme 3i it seems that the Realme is anticipated to unveil its Realme 5. Chinese smartphone companies usually skip the number 4 as it is considered to be an unlucky number in China. Hence, we have never seen any smartphone model name with the number “4” and this will also be the same for Realme.
The company has been teasing the capabilities of the 64MP camera on Twitter and is planning to showcase its new camera technology. It is confirmed that Realme 5 is to launch on August 15 in China. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also planning to launch its 64MP Redmi phone which is also expected to launch in India.
