Realme is all set to launch a new budget smartphone carrying the moniker Realme V21. The smartphone recently visited the 3C certification website with model number RMX3610. Though there are not a lot of details available regarding the smartphone as of now. At this point in time, we don’t know if the smartphone is going to be a 4G or a 5G offering.
Speculations are that the Realme V21 will be powered by a Unisoc processor. This clearly means that we can see the device supporting 4G connectivity. Apart from that, the smartphone will also have a 5G variant running on the MediaTek chipset.
Realme V21 rumoured specifications
Previous leaks suggest that the Realme V21 will come equipped with a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Expectations are that the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. We can expect 12GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage.
In terms of photography, Realme V21 could get a 48MP primary shooter in a triple rear camera setup. Apart from that, we can also get to see an 8MP front sensor for capturing selfies and attending video calls. The smartphone will draw power from a 5000mAh battery along with a 33W fast charging speed.
Considering the specifications of the device, it seems like the device will be priced somewhere around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000. We can say that it would serve as a competition for other devices in the same price range like the Vivo T1 5G, iQoo Z6 5G, and others.
One thing which we are sure of is that the smartphone will have a tough time competing with iQoo Z6 5G carrying the Unisoc processor as the latter comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. The iQoo offering is no doubt a better alternative to the upcoming Realme device. It will be interesting to see how both the devices will compete.
