Xiaomi has announced a price cut on a bunch of smartphones that include the Redmi K20 Pro and Mi A3 as we have learned from Twitter posts. The price cuts on these Xiaomi phones are effective, starting from January 23rd.
The new reduced prices on these Redmi and Mi smartphones will be available via retail stores across the country. The price cuts are also reflecting online channels such as Mi.com and Flipkart.
From Redmi, the K20 Pro is a part of the new K series of smartphones. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and is the flagship smartphone. This smartphone is the first Redmi smartphone with an AMOLED display.
Redmi K20 Pro has a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio and the big display dominates the front of the smartphone. It is an FHD+ HDR panel and has adequate brightness to be visible outdoors and good viewing angles.
It sports a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor and a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It has a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. We liked the smartphone’s macro performance and it delivers good photos during the day.
The Mi A3 will run on stock Android 9.0 Pie and come with a 6-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) AMOLED display, as far as the specifications are concerned. There will be a 64GB and 128GB storage option on offer and will be powered by a 2.0GHz Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor paired with 4GB and 6GB RAM options. The Mi A3 will not have the NFC support and come with a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Redmi K20 Pro has received a price cut and will now sell for 19,999. Coming to the Mi A3 Android One smartphone, which has started receiving the latest Android 10 update is now available at Rs 11,999.
