Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has an official release date, as per some posts on Weibo, and it is to launch on July 19. It is rather a phablet than a smartphone with a big screen that’s almost 7 inches. It will also have another variant in Mi Max 3 Pro.
Mi Max 3 sports a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS display supporting 1080 x 2160 pixels with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The brand’s efforts to offer a bezel-less front keeps the device size at par with Mi Max 2, although the display is notably bigger.
Max 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon octa-core 636 chipset that’s coupled with 6GB RAM (internal storage not yet disclosed). It runs MIUI 9.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and packs a massive 5,500mAh battery with fast charging support.
Xiaomi’s new phablet will feature a rear dual camera setup that’s equipped with AI, like scene recog and portrait mode. The portrait mode feature is as well bestowed in the front camera of 8 MP, along with AI Face Unlock.
Mi Max 3 Pro is a more powerful variant, being fueled by Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor. It bears 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Other key specs are expected to be similar to the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
Loads of speculations have been going on regarding both the variants and the aforementioned specifications are the confirmed ones. Stay tuned to know more about pricing and other specs details of Mi Max 3 and Max 3 Pro.
