Samsung is coming up with a new technological device, and this time the company is covering the field of sports. The Stadium LED Signage of Samsung is going to bring a new level of experience for the sports lovers in stadiums.
This new initiative of Samsung Electronics quite rightly justifies the company’s leadership in the markets. In fact, it is the only step taken further in the course of remaining as one of the most happening brands through the world’s technological platform.
Samsung LED Signage is “Game On!”
LED Signage of Samsung can now be found across the USA, in its major NBA and NFL stadiums, along with MLB and college stadiums as well. The AT&T Center and the M&T Bank Stadium are the most significant sports arenas providing elevated experiences for sports spectators.
New Zealand is also enjoying a similar spectacle, with more than 100 LED screens installed in Eden Park recently by Samsung. The company has further planned to install 17 large LED electronic signboards across the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. The stadiums to have the terrific treatment are National Stadium, Aquatic Center, Hockey Stadium, and most importantly, the AXIATA Arena, which is to host the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. The plans are to be executed in August.
The SK Wyverns Munhak Baseball Stadium in Incheon, South Korea, presently has the largest LED baseball board in the world. It displays not just scores, lineups, and stats; but also messages and even videos from the supporters. The Samsung screen is 18 meters tall and 64 meters wide.
Wholly New In-stadium experience for the fans
The new state-of-the-art Samsung LED Signage consists of differentiated solutions and outstanding image quality, which lets spectators enjoy every detail of the action, irrespective of where they are seated or how distracting the in-stadium atmosphere becomes.
Crisp images with accurate color calibration, uniform color, brightness, balanced screen color, and a high 24,000 Hz refresh rate that is achieved through direct driving – are guaranteed by the LED Signage. Replay actions in television screens and personal cameras usually have a 10,000 Hz or lower refresh rate and tend to flicker. The LED signage provides flicker-free images, even during ultra-slow replays.
Probably the most interesting facility that the LED signage provides is in the fan engagement department. For example, spectators may participate in the displayed games via their smartphones or IVR (interactive voice response).
2016 saw wide usage of Samsung’s vertical signage in schools, hospitals, airports, and offices. Now, sports arenas are also incorporating technology, opening opportunities to enjoy enriched game days for passionate sports fans worldwide.
