Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is the global alternative of Samsung Galaxy A9 Star debuted in China in June is expected to launch in India soon, as the new teaser put out by Amazon India suggests.
When launched in China, the handset was in the name of Galaxy A9 Star, but was renamed the Galaxy A8 Star and launched in the Philippines at a price tag of CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 30,600). However, the novelty is suggested to come with a price tag of Rs. 30,000, which is supposed to be around Rs. 34,990.
It is to come with a 6.3-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display and a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor, coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, expandable up to 400 GB via a microSD card slot and a powerful 3,700 mAh battery.
Galaxy A8 Star features a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, along with 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, RGB light sensor, and proximity sensor.
