Amidst all the hype about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10, the sudden announcement about Samsung’s new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S5e, went quite unnoticed, even though some renders about the new Galaxy Tab S5e popped up online earlier this day.
Customers excited about the tablet will have to wait for a while, but they are going to be informed about the price and release details.
Samsung Mobile (@SamsungMobile) posted a tweet today.
The conveniently portable tablet will come in a svelte and light body, 5.5mm thin and 400g weight, respectively.
Complete with a 16:10 aspect ratio Super AMOLED 10.5-inch display, the tablet offers an 81.8 percent screen-to-body ratio and contains no visible home button. It also is the first Samsung tablet to have the new Bixby 2.0 experience.
The storage configurations come in the variants of 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery capacity is a whopping 7,040mAh with fast charging that can last for almost 14 hours and 30 minutes.
The tablet comprises a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front camera. It also includes Wi-Fi, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. This tablet has ousted the 3.5mm headphone jack and will ship a Type-C headset connector in the box.
The Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab S5e will cost $479 (€419), and the LTE variant will cost $540 (€479) and will be available in markets across Europe, the United States, and other places from April 2019.
