South Korean tech giant, Samsung on Monday announced the launch of Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G to further diversify the 4G smartwatch range in India. A few months ago, Samsung launched its first 4G smartwatch, Galaxy Watch 4G in India. Now Samsung has become the first such brand in India with this smartwatch to offer customers the option of multiple 4G smartwatches.
The smartwatch is available in 44mm steel dial along with silver, black, and gold finishes. Samsung has already started selling the Watch Active 2 4G variant through offline channels, such as Samsung Opera House, Samsung eShop, and leading online portals.
With the launch of Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G, Samsung now has the widest range of 4G-enabled smartwatches in India spanning 2 unique design templates, 3 sizes, and 6 color finishes. In the lightweight and slim design smartwatch, users get three different color options – Gold, Black, and Silver. It has an edge-to-edge Super AMOLED display and gets touch badges. In this way, the experience of apps navigation in smartwatches is quite different.
Talking about the price, the 44mm steel dial variant of Galaxy Watch Active 2 4G is priced at Rs 35,990 for all three color options. The price of Galaxy Watch 4G has been kept at Rs 30,990 and 28,490 for 46 and 42mm models in India.
