One of the leading manufacturers in South Korea, Samsung has released a South Korea exclusive product named Galaxy Wide4 and Galaxy Jean2. The two smartphones with model numbers SM-A205S and SM-A202K have been certified by the Google Play Certified devices which were formerly known as Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A20e.
The Galaxy Wide4 and Galaxy Jean2 are likely to sport the same specs as the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A20e, which would put them in the lower mid-range and budget segments respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy Jean2 is a younger sibling of the Galaxy Wide4 that is is powered by a 1.35GHz octa-core Exynos 7884 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM. The internal storage is expandable up to 1 TB via a micro SD card. The camera and software configuration is the same as the Galaxy Wide4, but the battery is different. The Galaxy Jean 2 will be powered by a 3000 mAh battery which is quite small for present-day smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy Jean2 (A20e) is based on Android and packs 32GB of inbuilt storage. The novelty is of dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM cards.
Samsung Galaxy Wide4 flaunts a bezel-less display, which can offer a spacious view. It has a massive battery backup that supports the multitasking and gaming need of the user. It also has superb cameras. The drawback is the internal storage, where other smartphones in this range offer more inbuilt space. This smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box, and its lights are kept on by a 4,000 mAh battery.
Galaxy A20 was released for about $180, whereas there is no information on the exact release time of these smartphones in South Korea.
