Samsung Electronics announced today that it will support the world’s first 8K HDR10+ content making Samsung the world’s first electronics company to ever do that. For this purpose, Samsung has partnered with Europe’s three of the most famous service providers, CHILI, The Explorers and MEGOGO. These three service providers will adopt not only the Samsung 8K HDR10+ content but also the 4K HDR10+ content.

HDR10+ is one of the key features of Samsung’s upcoming lineup of QLED TVs. Some other TVs including all UHD TV and 2019 8K TV models are also designed and equipped to support the HDR10+ content which basically makes the bright areas of a video brighter, and the dark areas darker for an out worldly viewing experience. According to Victor Chekanov, the CEO of MEGOGO, HDR10+ movies and videos will be available to the Samsung Smart TV users late this summer.
