Samsung to showcase the future of mobile communication which includes 5G technology, virtual solution, and more at the Mobile World Congress this year. The South Korean technology titan in an announcement indicates the exhaustive description of the 5G vision, as well as a cloud-based end-to-end portfolio with network virtualization, and E2E orchestration in campus solutions to 5G.

Samsung earlier announced that it won’t unveil its much-talked flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 at the event rather the company will focus on the future of Mobile Communication. Here we could know so far what solutions Samsung will showcase at the event.
Network Virtualization:
Samsung is going to open its own virtualization RAN technique, which will evolve into a Unified RAN. This will integrate with Legacy 4G and 5G together. Along with that, it will also include an end-to-end orchestrator. Cloud network will help to reduce the complexity of big data, provide new adoption and operation technique and applications, and makes easier functionality.
5G Solutions
5G solutions are basically designed for the mmWave and below 6GHz spectrums. mmWave 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) will show a maximum data throughput of 4Gbps delivered to the 5G FWA house.
Samsung is planning to introduce live video analysis with 5G use cases, responsible for big amount of real-time data.
In Building and Campus Solutions
Nowadays massive data traffic like License Assisted Access (LAA), and Shared Spectrum (e.g. CBRS) has become the largest problem for industry leaders.
Samsung will introduce the full line-up of small cells and WiFi APs, which adds additional bandwidth to every house and venue regardless of service provider type, ranging from telecom operators, cable service providers, and neutral hosts.
After connecting to Samsung’s cloud-managed services, automatic feature upgrades and big data analytics-based optimization, and also vertical application add-ons with Open API are made possible.
