The launch of Fortnite Season 8 is imminent, and it is not that far away. The current Season 7 is already halfway through. Although the number of events planned for this week on the game this season is not overwhelmingly large, neither have the game developers planned this week to be a busy one event-wise. Season 7 of Fortnite will finally receive an update this week.
Leading up to the launch of Season 8 of Fortnite, numerous sources claim what the upcoming season has under its sleeves. However, on the other hand, Season 7, Week 7 of Fornite has come up with new challenges, along with the release of more lien Artifacts and of course, the low-awaited release of 17.20.
Although the full details of the new update are not yet available, a few Fortnite Leak sources have confirmed that the upcoming season will include a brand new abductor which will also contain a few new Buffet Portals. As per this source, these Buffet Portals have a direct correlation to the Special Event Countdown taking place inside the game. The source has pointed out that the glyphs rotating on the portal indicate the launch of the new Abductors. Fortnite, of course, has not confirmed it officially.
Fortnite update 17.20 is finally out; although not a lot of details on this update are available yet, we could safely assume that one of the main driving forces behind this new update would be to add the ability to set preferred item slots in the inventory. Moreover, the new feature supports ARs, Shotguns, SMGs, Pistols, Snipers and Bows, Grenade Launchers and Rockets, Consumables, and Utility.
Whenever a new update launches, the weekly challenges are also leaked. This also means that the leak of the inclusion of a possible new Abductor points to the fact that the new season of Fortnite is upon us.
