Vertigo Studio, which brought out to the market games such as Arizona Sunshine in 2016 and Skyworld back in 2017, has reportedly paired up with Vive Studios to create a new VR card-battler dubbed Skyworld Kingdom Brawl. The game is supposed to be available from 2nd April 2019 onwards. Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl is in many ways like any other card-based battle game. Skyworld: Kingdom Brawl will let the players collect, unlock, and upgrade cards to build a deck. However, the creators of the game are of the opinion that this is not all the game can do.
According to the creators, players can “watch your cards come to life as you cast spells and summon forces to wipe your enemy off the map.” The game is somewhat of a collective game where the players will be able to join a clan, play in regular online tournaments, and post their high scores on a worldwide leader board.
The game will not be confined to a single platform and will be available on multiple platforms. According to Vertigo Studios, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Windows VR headsets, and Vive Focus will be the platforms on which the new Skyworld Kingdom Brawl will be available. The game also supports full cross-platform support, according to the report.
The game will also enable the players to play dozens of cards to deploy troops, cast spells, and challenge friends worldwide in cross-platform multiplayer form. Other specifications and features include things like choosing from over 20 unique battle arenas, joining a clan, battling for glory, and claiming the rewards. The players can make a name and reputation for themselves in regular tournaments, vanquish enemies with dragons and fireballs, wage war, and in the end, be victorious.
Skyworld: Kingdom Battle will make its appearance at the GDC which is planned to be held later this month.
