Snap Inc, the American technology and camera company, reportedly has schemes of releasing its gaming platform, codenamed ‘Project Cognac,’ to developers in April, as has been reported today by the online news service, Cheddar.
Cheddar has claimed that the source of information is a person acquainted with such plans of Snap Inc.
Featuring a few games from outside developers, Project Cognac will be limited to the Snapchat app exclusively and is reportedly set to be disclosed to the media at Snap Inc’s first summit for content and developer partners in Los Angeles on April 4.
At the summit, video initiatives with original shows are also reportedly going to be launched.
There was no immediate response to a request for comments from Snap.
