OnePlus 7 has always kept its users happy all-around, be it with its smartphones or the timely rolled out updates. OnePlus has been at the top of its game this year. Even the carrier variant of OnePlus 7 Pro has recently started getting the stable Android 10 update. Even the T-Mobile exclusive OnePlus 6T is also getting a new security update.
OnePlus 7 Pro is running on Android Pie with the September patch set but now the smartphone will get the November patchset. The Android 10 update for the OnePlus 7 Pro comes with the version number 10.0.1.GM31CB and is 1.9 GB in size. [Update link here].
The update came in a blur. The official update tracker of T-Mobile does not show any prompt for the new update. However, the users who did get the update shared the screenshot of the update.

The software update includes the following:
– Update to Android 10
– Updated Android security patch to November 2019
– Improved system stability and general bug fixes.
The software update mainly comes with three new updates; those are- update to Android 10, Updated Android security patch to November 2019 and improved system stability and general bug fixes. The update is currently being pushed via OTA in batches.
The update procedure is pretty standard, i.e. during the installation the user will not be able to make any phone calls, and after the completion of the update, the phone will reboot itself.
It is not only the OnePlus 7 Pro that is getting the taste of the new updated version of the OS. T-Mobile also released the security patchset for another device in November of 2019. The OnePlus 6T also received the new patchset. However, this update is incremental only and it does not add any new feature for the 6T device.
The OnePlus 6T T-Mobile variant was updated with the October patchset with the version number A6013_34_191216 and it was only 325 MB in size total. The software update includes the update for the Android security patch to November 2019 and the update GMS to October 2019.
It may take some time before the update hits all units of the OnePlus smartphones.
