Electric vehicle goliath Tesla has closed what it had been crowned as the first flagship showroom in China as the company amended its sales and strategy in the country. In other words, China is the second largest market for Tesla. Tesla closed the showroom in one of the over-ornated regions in Beijing’s Parkview Green late last week, according to a few people who visit the place frequently.

According to Reuters, Tesla’s closed showroom can now be seen with a glued poster that shows available for the next tenant. Tesla’s contract with the showroom expired, and Tesla decided not to extend the contract. There’s been information hovering near the closed mall as customers are redirected to a nearby Tesla showroom to get what they wish to wield. Tesla hasn’t yet commented on the request to knock at the headquarters door. The closed store can be called the first symbol of Tesla in China and was welcomed in 2013.

Later in 2018, it was modernized and broadened to obtain two extra floors in the mall. Mayhaps, Tesla is known for its idea-swapping techniques, which the company snatched from its CEO or “Chief Twit” Tesla have nearly 200 established showrooms across the country that exhibits models and offers test drive to customers.

In September, the company was planning to close some showrooms in luxury malls in Beijing due to Covid restrictions. The company also focuses on Elon Musk’s goal of enhancing customer service and demands by constructing low-cost suburban showrooms that can also be dedicated to providing repairs to customers. To meet the goal in the given timeline, Tesla has been hiring technicians in China. The company’s China recruitment website shows 305 openings for service jobs.
