Hello, Games has moved on to its dream project, The Last Campfire. The game encapsulates a journey of lost souls who are assisting each other or ignoring each other. This has been developed by Chris Symonds and Steven Burgess who had also developed the game Lost Winds in 2008 on Nintendo Wii for the company Frontier Developments.
The platform shall be available from August 27. The launch was preceded by a Hello Games’ developer commentary video as well as a PlayStation blog post yesterday. It will be launched on the Apple Arcade, Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, PCs, and iOS platforms.
The Last Campfire presents a melancholic and dark world that is puzzling and is thus to attract the users alike. The revelation of the debut games which is different from the company’s previous offers like No Man’s Sky was done back in 2018, where Sean Murray, the company’s co-founder had explained that The Last Campfire is the story of “a lost ember trapped in a puzzling place, searching for meaning and a way home.”
The lost soul is thus a bean-bag like looking character called Ember. There would be some other souls to make a choice for and go forward with solving the mysterious world and the puzzles and finally light the last campfire after finding it.
Thus the fantasy world the game provides and the puzzles it places with the mesh of the game itself shall enthrall and attract the gamers alike, especially those looking out for a different setting with some mind-boggling adventures.
