After some rumors, it seems that the Pokemon Pass mobile app has already become official and in fact has already been launched on some mobile platforms.
Pokemon Pass is already a reality. At least in the United States. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have launched a new application of the saga across the pond and have done so completely free for iOS and Android. The application allows users to stay up to date with all the games in the series and offers exclusive rewards to use on them. The first of these rewards is the option to get a Pikachu or a shiny Eevee in Let’s Go Pikachu! / Let’s Go Eevee!. An offer that helps to get an idea of the periodicity with which new ones will be released, as the shiny gift will only be available between May 11 and June 23.
The only thing that Pokemon Pass requires is that we log in with our Pokemon Trainer account, or that we create one if we do not have one. The application receives our location and informs us of the nearest stores with promotions and gifts about Pokemon. Then it is enough to go to the different designated areas and scan the QR codes that are there. In addition to the Pikachu or Eevee shiny, these first days the application unlocks stickers from the movie Detective Pikachu that we can use for WhatsApp and social networks.
Those interested can now download this application on both iOS and Android and the main reward is that we can get a Pikachu or Eevee varicolored for Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! or Pikachu! respectively. Between May 11 and June 23, fans can receive this Pokemon at participating Target stores in the United States through the app.
This application can also be used as a camera and allows to use Detective Pikachu stickers available after downloading the application. This is related to the promotional poster of Psyduck that we saw yesterday. For now, this app has only been shared for the United States and have not received news for global release.
