Internet users have fired up in regard to the revelation of secret documents from Panama-based Mossack Fonseca by an anonymous insider. Over the year of investigation by the International Consortium for Investigative Journalism and their 200 global partners have shed light on the dark sight of rich and powerful world leaders using offshore tax havens to hide their vast wealth.
The revelation marks the biggest leak in history and contains 11 million confidential documents worth 2.6 terabytes. It is even larger than the U.S. diplomatic cables released by Julian Assange led WikiLeaks in 2010 and the secret intelligence documents leaked by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden in 2013.
The leak unveils secret offshore holdings from 128 politicians around the world, including 12 current and former world leaders.
