The new luxury brand division Lexus IS, under the Japanese car brand named Toyota, has officially released the new car that is about to have four different car models under it comprising the following:
- IS300
- IS350
- IS300h and
- special edition F SPORT Mode Black
IS300:
Powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine with outputs of 180 kW (5800 rpm) and 350 nm (1650–4000 rpm), this is the size of a mid-size sedan with an eight-speed conventional automatic transmitting the outputs to the rear wheels.
It further has a multi-functional leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 4.2-inch driver display offering limited mirroring functionality, a 10-speaker Pioneer sound system, a fold-down armrest with a couple of cupholders, as well as back vents for an easy cooling system.
The current price of it is between $ 39,000 – $ 41,000 respectively.
IS350:
The IS 350 comes with a special sports mode with smooth and linear power delivery, free-breathing V-6, 3.5-liter V6 engine, and, most importantly, an optimized Adaptive Variable Suspension, which helps to deliver enhanced cornering and stability at every turn.
IS300h:
Priced at £37,635.00, this model comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder inline hybrid system, and comprises of :
a) Lexus Safety System + consisting of Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Road Sign Assist (RSA)
b) Lexus Media Display with 6 speakers, 7″ display screen, 1-CD, and rotary dial controller
c) LED headlights with Automatic High Beam and Parking sensors, 4 x front and 4 x rear
d) 2-way electrical lumbar adjustment for the driver, 18″ F SPORT alloy wheels (Front 225/40 R18, Rear 255/35 R18)
FSport Mode Black:
Fused with several parts, this car model enablement panel changes from blackish colors to silver when exposed to sunlight. It is further aided by leather seats with driver seat position memory and passenger seat ventilation and features an 8-inch TFT LCD meter for “F SPORT.
Other specifications include:
a) blackened exterior mirrors,
b) window trims,
c) body surrounds.
d) Black forged wheels
Currently, the Lexus IS promotes luxury seating arrangements, with advanced sports mode, and a well-defined body oozing with intelligent features and the best driving experience. For now, the sale remained confined within the domestic market, waiting to reach the international domain.
